I am a New York-based researcher working in the arts and interested primarily in the hybrid possibilities emerging between living things and computational systems.
My collaborative explorations synthesize expert knowledge of artists, scientists, engineers, art fabricators, curators, and conservators.
In a professional reseach capacity, I have worked as Director of Research at Anicka Yi Studio for over four years,
providing critical research and development for projects ranging from kelp sculptures to autonomous floating machines to paintings made through machine learning.
I hold an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design where I have also designed and taught several original graduate courses as well as core curriculum coding and design courses as a part-time faculty member.
I participated in the NEW INC Year 7 Creative Science Track and am an ongoing community member there. NEW INC is a New Museum-led cultural incubator dedicated to supporting innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship across art, design, and technology.
